On a beach – Brighton beach! It’s my favourite city, my adopted hometown, and I feel in love here. Plus I’m an outdoors-y kinda girl so getting married in the open air just makes sense. I don’t want to have to drag my nearest and dearest across the water just so I can marry on a beach.

My husband-to-be and I are going to go ahead and have a wedding outside in a field. We’re going to say the vows with a friend acting as an officiant and my father is going to give me away. We’re having a party with all our friends and family and it’s going to be wonderful. The only hitch is it won’t be legal, so we’re just going to head off to the town hall in our lunch break and do the legal bit. I know a few couples who have done this. The law is an ass, so we have signed this petition as it should be changed, but life is what you make it, and your dream wedding is too. Good luck everyone xxx
